Called Celebrity several times today to get the itineraries for the 2019 Spring TA's. As of todays release only the Edge & Reflection are scheduled to go back to Europe in the Spring of 2019. The Silhouette is being Chartered in the Caribbean in Spring of 2019 and no return date to Europe has been set yet. Anybody have any other information on the Spring 2019 TA's? Very sad if you only have a choice of two ships for the Spring.

Thank you for reposting. Tried to book on the Silhouette five minutes ago and they will not book for the April 14, 2019 TA. As I was told by other agents previously there is a issue with a charter in the Caribbean and they can not accept any bookings until that issue is worked out if and when they will return to Europe. Infinity is a old ship and I really would want to cross the Ocean on it.

You actually have a pretty large variety of ships, to choose from. If you make a choice to limit yourself to a single cruise line (one which seems to be determined to reduce the quality of their product) then its on you. Expand your horizons and look at all the offerings. There are already dozens of Transatlatics...scheduled for the spring of 2019.

Thank you, Hank, for the suggestion...do you have any lines that you recommend? We are relatively new to cruising, with just 4 Celebrity cruises. We have enjoyed them all; really love TAs and the sea days.

We did a Transatlantic on Oceania a few years ago and loved it. O tends to be more expensive than X, but it is a good product. You have to decide if the extra cost is worth it or not.

Yesterday, we booked with Oceania for Spring of 2019 TA (NY to Southampton). We started looking elsewhere after we saw Celebrity's prices. The other thing is their TA itinerary looks alot more interesting than Celebrity's. It will be our first time on Oceania.

Thank you for this post! I also just sent off an enquiry for this TA.
