Do you have a copy of 2017 Freedom of the Seas LUGGAGE VALET handout/form?

I thought I read some posts stating that luggage valet was now only bring done on Oasis class ships.

Ken, cruisers on Freedom of the Seas happily have reported using Luggage Valet again, both in January and February.

If possible, could someone please post a copy of the Luggage Valet handout/form pages for any Freedom of the Seas 2017 sailings so far? (Port Everglades for FLL/MIA)

Also, could anyone who sailed Freedom of the Seas on the 8-night cruise please let me know what *day (night)* they received the Luggage Valet form?

(For our upcoming Freedom cruise we have a very late flight on debarkation day, so we made post-cruise reservations that might need to change depending on the form. If we know the form arrives later in the cruise, we'll see if Guest Services could give us a copy earlier so we can be sure the current LV requirements still are in sync with our plans.)

Thank you! :)

We were on the 8 night in January, and the form came pretty early -- either Monday or Tuesday. But I don't think late flight are an issue anyway, only early flights...

Thanks kardut! The form coming Monday or Tuesday will work for us. :)

-- When we get the form we'll read through to make sure we qualify for all the requirements before we sign up for Luggage Valet, then cancel our original plan to keep our luggage in a motel* near FLL.

*
There are four of us and we do not want to leave all our luggage in our rented van all day while we roam around more and do extra post-cruise things before our 7:30pm & 8:50pm flights. Luggage Storage at
FLL closes a little too early for our comfort, and
Miami Beach was less convenient and more expensive than some discounted motel options available to us.

Instead of hassling with these other luggage storage options involving moving our bags around ourselves, we would be thrilled with paying $25 per person for Luggage Valet!

I am currently on Freedom and will try and post one [emoji2]

From thread "Freedom's food does a 360!" http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=52399572 --

...

Robyn graciously has volunteered to post a copy of the current form when she gets back.

I did not, I forgot [emoji853] my apologies.

FYI, unfortunately Robyn wasn't able to get a copy of the form home, so I'm re-posting...

-- Does anyone have a copy of Freedom's 2017 Luggage Valet form that they could share here please? (yn)

Thanks in advance!

I just got off Allure today. Signed up for luggage valet via in room t.v. system. Went back and confirmed the system said our enrollment was pending. Yesterday, learned their system knew nothing about us being in it, nothing could be done, and complications from this have brought misery to us today. I'm told this happened to someone else, too.

So, even if you apply via tv in room, I highly recommend you also apply via the paper application. Do it 2 different ways and maybe their system can manage to not screw it up.

Sorry it took me so long to post them!!

Dawn, thanks again very much for posting the Luggage Valet form!!!

It's such a big help to get this now, especially seeing how different it is from earlier versions of the form I've seen online (both from Freedom as well as from other ships).

...And no worries, I know you've been busy; I really appreciate your taking the extra time to help! :)

Thanks drrich2, and so sorry you had problems with the TV signup. Given your experience, whether or not Freedom allows sign-up via the TV system, I think I'll plan on doing the paper application and dropping it off at Guest Services personally.

Luggage Valet for us was a great success for us; thanks to all who contributed to this thread!

For those of you sailing the Freedom of the Seas Eastern Caribbean 8-night, we received the Luggage Valet forms in our staterooms on the evening of Day 2. Guest Services also had copies of the form available on Day 1, in the document/handout wall just to the right of the counter (just before the starboard aft elevator lobby).

---

To make sure you get the forms submitted correctly, I would recommend handing your completed form to Guest Services in person.

-- Or, if you have access to the Diamond Lounge: You can hand the form over to the concierge when they're at their desk, and he/she may be able to submit the form information electronically while you wait :).

-----

Guest Services (or the concierge if available to you) is able to confirm if the processing airline accepted your submission. In our experience you should allow a day or two before the concierge or Guest Services knows if your submission has been accepted successfully -- so it behooves you to hand in the form as early as possible. We handed in our completed Luggage Valet forms before lunchtime on Day 3. (We had 2 staterooms, and handed in 1 form per stateroom.)

Here's a clean scan of the Freedom of the Seas Luggage Valet form for 2017 -- both front and back of the handout:
