Glory 2473

We stayed in cabin 2470 on the Glory in the summer of 2006. It is the same as 2473......just on the opposite side of the ship. As you can see from our pictures below, it is simply HUGE! In fact, our cabin steward said that it is easily the size of a suite. The two windows are an added plus, and there is alot of room in the center of the cabin giving you plenty of space to move around in!

There was minimal noise from the hallways since the cabin is so far back on the ship and therefore less foot traffic. The only negative for us was that it was a long hike from the front of the ship where the nightly shows are held.

Do you know if you can sleep 4 in this room? We have a balconey with not nearly this space! I am jealous!!

Im pretty sure I pulled up the Carnival deck plans for this cabin for someone else who asked, and nope, only 2 people in this suite sized cabin.

Iv always said I think the aft 6B cabins that are over sized are one of the best deals for Conquest class, but now some have provided pictures to confirm. You always hear how great that wake is to watch from your balcony, there are aft 6Bs too that have views of the wake.

There will be vibration, for at least 20 minutes pulling in and out of ports. Shouldnt bother you other times. Makes the whole toilet shake if thats where you are when its going on. hahahahhahaha

It didnt bother me, made me laugh.

We have been thinking about switching to a balcony? The ones that are still available are in odd places (near clubs, casino or theater) and I am afraid they would have more noise than the aft cabin we have now. What do you guys think? "Loud all the time" balcony or "loud docking at port" aft cabin?

Please help! :(

Thank you, that makes me feel much better. My DH is the one that wants to switch to a balcony, but I keep trying to tell him that we're lucky to have gotten this cabin. Thanks again for confirming that for me, LOL :D

i hate to say it, but balconies are over rated. IF you plan on spending a lot of time out there, then they are fine, but if you have never been on a ship before, and you want to explore every inch of that ship, when do you have time for a balcony?
