cabin 9254 on Seranade (Radiance class ships)

I just booked this room for Alaska because aft was not available. On the diagram the balcony looks odd shaped. I know 9252 says partial blockage. anyone know if 9254 has an unusual balcony?

You are dealing with both the washing and maintenance equip/ladder and the super structure

thanks everyone. Just sent the pictures to my agent. I am waitlist for aft but I could be waitlisted while in a different room. I upgraded to a D1 so I could get the aft. So I told her I did not want this room. Although we probably will be on our friends who have an aft suite.

Friends had the same balcony on the Jewel. The equipment wasn't noticeable and there was an extension to the balcony that made it long enough to fit a lounge chair unlike normal side balconies.

Boy I don't know whether to keep it or get a regular side balcony so I can see clearly...

I was in the JS just above you (1098) and the "obstruction" obstructs nothing. It's a ladder and platform than hang from above---you can see it, but it's doesn't hamper your view at all. After 5 minutes, you won't even notice it.

The "odd shaped" balcony is larger and does allow for a lounge chair, that the other balconies don't have.

what about 9654 on the other side? it looks like its balcony is a little bigger than 9254 and both are open on our upcoming ALaskan cruise on RAdiance
