Leaving Port of Miami

Where should I be to see the best sights up on deck or can I stay on my port side balcony????

I recommend being on deck; the atmosphere is better. It's also a great way to start making new friends.

I agree. Up on deck is much better. That way you can see both sides of the channel.

You will see alot more being on the port (left) side of the ship when setting sail. You will see the million-dollar homes of the rich and famous, like Will Smith and Gloria Estafan, on the port side. The other side has the Miami docks and cranes. The sailing up the channel is really neat, especially when you sail past the hotels and beach area.

Here is a view from the Triumph back in March of sailing out of Miami. IMHO there is not another port in Florida that has this good of a view.

We have pretty much the whole Upper deck fantail balconies on the Valor in Apr so I would think we will be able to get a good view of everything . does anybody know anything about these staterooms the balconies look bigger than most. Fair winds and following seas . John in Colville, Wa.
