kae Posted September 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2009 I keep getting a notice from CS that there has been a rate drop but how or where do I go to Prove/find it. Thank you Kae
firefly333 Posted September 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Check on carnival site. Pretend to book your cruise... check the prices for your category, could be a residence rate for your state, a senior rate etc. Someone here thought because the program said the senior rate was lower they could match it even if they werent 55. It does have to be a rate you qualify for too. If you tell us your category and ship and sailing date, we should be able to pull up the rate too, if you need help. Also, of course, you have to be booked early saver rate, to get the rate drop, Im sure you know that ... but some have not understood they dont get rate drops after final payment if they didnt book early saver. firefly333 Posted September 9, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Did you uncheck the box to check for senior rates, if you arent 55 or older?? I do see a senior rate listed for your date.
firefly333 Posted September 9, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2009 There is also a price of $379 for a free upgrade all the way from a 6A to a 6E. Im betting you are seeing the price of $279 for the senior rate though?? Im in Texas, so it doesnt show anything for my state.

I will check the Indiana thing but I put South Bend as home airport when checking rates, so that would cover the Indiana rates, right. Kae

firefly333 Posted September 9, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Did you pay more than $329?? there is a past guest rate with free upgrades to 6E. 6A to 6E free upgrades with the $329 past guest rate, cant copy and paste it here, too many images it is telling me
firefly333 Posted September 9, 2009 #9 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Since you arent a senior, $329 is the best rate I see, and if you paid that or more, you can also first ask for the free upgrade to a 6E if one is available... awesome cabin.
