Trunk Bay

There will be 4 ships in port the day we are in St Thomas. We would like to snorkel in Trunk Bay. How crowded do you think it will be? Should we wait until we visit at another time? We would do a ship tour but really don't want to do that if it is to crowded to enjoy.

There are going to be 5 ships in port when we are there, but we're going anyway. Just curious as to whether or not they rent snorkel equipment there?

There is snorkel rental at Trunk Bay.

 

If your plan was to go to Trunk bay then keep to it. Great beach :-). You can do it on your own if you want to avoid being with a crowd. Once at the beach, if its a little crowded right where you first walk to from the entrance then walk a little to the left or right and find your own spot :-).
