brooklyn or manhattan pier for canada?

We are booked on the 8/2010 sailing of Caribbean Princess for Canada/New England. The itinerary says "NYC - Brooklyn or Manhattan". When will we know which pier or location so that we can either decide to park there or make other arrangements to get to the pier. Looked like this ship sailed out of Brooklyn this past week on it's current sailing. Thanks!

I would assume it would be only at Red Hook Pier in Brooklyn, NY .. That's the only pier that Caribbean Princess has always used..Call Princess to be sure or your TA. ENJOY..

thanks! We didn't realize that was the pier Princess uses since it says on the itinerary Manhattan or Brooklyn.

They say that because they may be jockeying around with Cunard's QM2 who also uses Brooklyn.

Its the Brooklyn Red Hook Pier. Ours says the same thing.

Our recent cruise on the Tahitian said the same thing and we sailed from Brooklyn

Every Princess and Cunard cruise from NY that I have been on has left from Red Hook.

I just looked and it says on the boarding pass "Brooklyn Pier"

I sail this coming Saturday on the "CB" and on my boarding pass it reads"Brooklyn Pier"!
