binoculars in rooms?

We had an Oceanview on Journey in July. The room had binoculars in it. Mind you, we are not talking standard Royal Navy issue, more like opera glasses but perfectly usable. My own mini set are 8 x 21 and these are probably the same.

Nice touch.

You need to book a Deluxe Suite on HAL to get binoculars & I'm not sure if Oceania provides them in every cabin either.

Another nice touch on Azamara is the small refrigerator in every cabin. We didn't have one on Oceania.

Just starting our packing for our upcomming Journey cruise. I have read that the staterooms have binoculars in them. Does this include the oceanview rooms? Don't want to pack mine if they will be in the room already. Thanks

We still pack our own as well. Even though the one's that are in the room are a mini set, they still focus very good. But it is also nice to have our own so we both can look together at something. They also have umbrellas in the cabin as well.
