Rare Essiesmom Posted September 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Stern and aft are the same place. The opposite of stern/aft is fore/forward. I was far forward and everything was fine except for when we were in the Atlantic off Brazil, between Recife and the Amazon. When in doubt, book a midships cabin. The higher the deck and the farther forward or aft you go the more movement you can expect.
Fredr Posted September 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hello, You are worrying about this too much. The Artemis was formerly known as the Royal Princess and is one of the nicest ships in the world. It is my favorite even after 30 cruises on many different ships. I would try to get a cabin in the middle of the ship.
