Avis Rental Car in Skagway is now taking online reservations for 2010.

 

(I'd been checking every few days for the last month or so and it hasn't been available - it said closed for the season - but it is now accepting reservations).

Did anyone book a mini van in Skagway? I just went on line and they said not available. Could it be sold out or they don't have any? Thanks

What an awesome first post many have been waiting for this. Got my car researved and now just need to get through this winter so we can get cruisin...

You have to call them direct for a van. They open in May. Depends what arrives from Anchorage, but they usually have a least one van for rent.

Thanks for the update on the Avis location in Skagway. I too, have been trying for the past month or so to make reservations with no luck. I even called the 800 number and they were as frustrated as I was as they too could not make a reservation.
