Private tour boston area

Just back from Boston. Had a private tour with www.bostonprivatetours.com or phone 978-771-4471 for a group of 5 that was terrific and wanted to share. We actually had a 8 hour tour of the Salem area(minimal due to commercialism and guides honest recommendation), Marblehead (beautiful and quite historic), Glousester ?spelling, home of the Morton Fisherman statue and the best lobster bisque I've ever had, and Rockport with drop off at the Airport. Most of the arrangements were through Bill McDonough who was efficient and easy to work with. Tour guide, David Welans made it very personal and added lots tidbits since he actually grew up in the areas. They can provide tours of all types, Boston, history, architecture, literary lighthouse, Fall colors etc. Just tell them what you are interested in and they make suggestions. Will accomodate dockside from Boston or Newport, RI. I don't think you can go wrong with these guys!

Thanks Janet. We locals don't often hear about a local private guide to recommend. Many on these boards travel into Boston now to board a cruise ship. Your recommendation is great. Just for your Scrapbooking reference, it is the Gorton Fisherman in Gloucester harbor.

Bon Voyage
