PROCRUISE Posted October 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Our two cruises for 2010 are planned and booked. I know it is early, but I retire in 2011 and am thinking ahead to my retirement gift to myself-a cruise of course. Anyone ever taken the HAL 14 day cruise to China and VietNam? I think it would be interesting but wonder why it is offered in October-November? Just looking for something really interesting, although I must admit, some place warm would be a plus over some place cold!
NMLady Posted October 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2009 According to the GoChina section of About.com -- "traveling in October can be one of the best months to visit. Autumn is really starting to get into full swing in central China and you'll find cooling temperatures and mild, sunny weather. Fall foliage will already be out in the north and October can be a wonderful time to visit the Great Wall. In southern China it will still be quite warm with temperatures in the high 70s-80s."
