SF Posted October 3, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Hi SF, Should be, first few nights are always fun as the new folk know its at the back of the ship but can not find it.:D yours Shogun Hi Shogun, Yes, if you don't know which elevators to take or use the stairs it can get confusing if you've never been to that dining room before. It's also fun to watch the people get out of the elevators and not know which side their room is on after several days. When I tell them to check the color of the carpet they look to both sides and then smile. jimpod, Thanks for replying and confirming what I asked. Colo Cruiser Posted October 3, 2009 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Shogun as we are newbies on the Crown perhaps you could share the secret...of how to ge there:D Deck 7 all the way aft and down the stairs or elevator 1 deck to deck 6, its the only thing down there. And yes Bottichelli is the Traditional dining room.
TwinCruiserMom Posted October 3, 2009 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2009 You can get to the Botticelli (deck 6 aft) using the aft elevators from any deck 7 and up. When you get to the 6th floor from those elevators, you will see that the only passenger area at that location is the dining room. Decks 5 and 6 end midship with their respective dining rooms because there is galley areas aft of those dining rooms. If you happen to be in the atrium or midship before your dining time then you would do what was mentioned before and take deck 7 (promenade deck) to the aft and go down one floor. It sounds more difficult than it is and it takes no time at all to learn your way around those big ships. :)
5fathom Posted October 3, 2009 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Da Vinci and Michelangelo are the two "anytime" dining rooms, forward on decks 5 and 6. We spent the week in Da Vinci and ate about 7pm each nite with never a wait.
