early boarding

I thought early boarding was no longer offered in 2010. That guests could s

tart boarding at 12:00pm. Rooms will not be ready, but you will be able to use public rooms, have lunch, etc. Does anyone know if this correct?

Yes, this is correct. Anyone boarding earlier has obtained permission due to booking it before the decision was made, etc. The 10:30 boarding is being completely phased out quite soon.

THANKS, Debbie, for this info! I like the idea of boarding early and not having to pay the extra cost. As Keith and others have noted, this allows time to get oriented to the ship, its features, etc. We are planning our first Silversea cruise July 1-16, 2010, Norway Coast, fjords, Arctic Circle, etc. Having that added flexibility will be a nice plus. Enjoy! Terry in Ohio
