Given the complexities of a private car service across the border, few people do this, and the cost is high $400 http://www.avancouvertaxi.com/taxi-fares.html However, there is a shuttle bus quickcoach.com that does it, it's around $50/ea IIRC. Plus there's (currently) twice daily Amtrak service;

If you are speaking of "private" car service the cost is prohibitive however if you are thinking of a rental car then all of the large rental companies such as Avis, Budget, Hertz and Alamo do permit the dropping of cars in Vancouver. If you do a little shopping around you should be able to get a rate at about $100.

Wow! It would be less expensive to just purchase a flight from Vancouver to Seattle.

a taxi for 2.5 - 3.5 hours is expensive ANYWHERE in North America
