trixie54 Posted October 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I know there isn't much info yet on the Oasis of the Seas Solarium, but I have a question that someone with experience on other RCI ships with "adult only" areas might have an idea about. We will be 4 adults & a 6 mo. old baby traveling together, & are wondering whether the baby would be permitted to be carried into the Solarium by one of us, looking for the others? The baby wouldn't stay in the area. I know nobody wants the noise of a baby in there...but just wondering how it would be handled.
boulders Posted October 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I haven't studied the deck plans of the Oasis, but the way it works on other RCCL ships is that as long as the baby is just passing through the adult area - like the Solarium and the casino, it is fine. The problem comes in if the baby stops ie if the person carrying him/her is stationary. Then, you may be asked to leave the Solarium - you definitely would be asked to leave the casino. However, in order to get from one end of the ship to the other on those particular decks - you do need to pass through the Solarium or the casino. I'm not sure how the Solarium is arranged on Oasis - if it is not a passageway from one area to the next, you might have problems.
cb at sea Posted October 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Anyone may enter...it's just that kids under 16 aren't allowed to remain or swim....
