Jaffa Posted January 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Hey there, I am flying into BA on Feb 3 and require a car and driver for airport transfer and for several days sightseeing. Could anyone put me onto a reputable company with good rates. I have already located a guide but am having prob's finding a car service. I don't need anything big as l am traveling solo. But airconditioning is a must. Thanks in advance!!
Jillisue Posted January 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I would recommend Cintia for what you are looking for. She is very reputable and has very positive feedback. I know that she would be able to help you with the car service and any excursions you might select.
ALadyNCal Posted January 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I have also been in touch with Cintia and read good things about her. Just curious -- which hotel did you choose to book thru her? Thx
Jillisue Posted January 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2005 ALadyNCal: Cintia booked us at the Loi Suites Hotel Recoleta. She said it is in a very nice area and a safe area. It is about a half block to the Recoleta Cemetary and also to restaurants and upscale shopping. ;) I have done a lot of reading and searching and feel this was an excellent choice. I have also read very good reviews by past guests. So we shall see when we get there. I just know that Cintia would not steer us wrong. I feel it is much better to have someone who actually lives there recommend a hotel than for me to pick one because of a picture off the inter net. Good luck with all your plans and have a great cruise. We cruise on January 30, 2005.
ALadyNCal Posted January 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2005 That hotel will be an excellent choice. I've seen many good things about it. As I am getting 3 rooms for 3 nights, I was keeping to a lower budget, or I would have certainly booked it. We cruise 2/13/05. Have a great time
HowardB Posted January 5, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Just curious - is there any reason you are not taking taxis? They are cheap and plentiful all over BA. Also (if you are physically capable), walking is a great way to get around.
