What did you win on your Carnival cruise?

In 1998 I won a cruise for 2 in a Penthouse Suite on any Carnival Ship playing bingo the day of disembarcment. Best part was since were we in port (Miami), technically Carnival couldn't "gamble" so the cruise was valued at 0 so no tax! We took the cruise the following year (in the penthouse suite) on the Holliday.

In 2007, won a slot tournament on a Princess Cruise $500.

I've been pretty lucky! I hope my luck continues :-)

I won a spare tire and DW scored a set of love handles. :D

Well, we must be way ahead of the game, because we haven't even gotten on the ship yet, and already have those! I'll see your spare tire and love handles and raise you a pair of thunder thighs and a fat butt!!:D:D

wouldn't I just LOVE to win a cruise or a few hundred bucks? wouldn't we all? We will have to be on the lookout for ways to snag a little of those winnings!

On 6/09 Pride cruise I won $300 on slot machine the 1st night. On my recent 9/09 Glory cruise I won 2 medals, a diamond and sapphire necklace at the Ports of Call talk and a Ship On A Stick by answering one question asked by our CD James during his morning TV show. "Ship's Captain....boxers or briefs??" LOL!

VERY FIRST cruise ... Bingo $500

Over the next 40 or so:

> 3 (or 4 ?) Blackjack tournament trophies + $500 each time.

> A couple of 5 digit wins at Blackjack, and several 4 digit.

We won't talk about any LOSSES, since that was not the question! :o

Won about 5 ship on a stick which are my fleet on the dresser. Also a bunch of medals which I give away on the ship.

No bingo as I find that bingo is a suckers game with a huge profit margin for the ship. They had one for $ 400 that at least 100 people put in $ 20 each and than it was split 3 ways. Thought that was kind of funny actually.

Used to play a bit in the casino but kind of stopped except for blackjack tournaments which are a freebee as we are now platinum.

I won the free cruise for two raffle in a Cat 6A cabin while on the Conquest. Now, I see someone said they won a free cruise ina Cat 12, that would NEVER be given away as a free cruise bingo or raffle--it would cost to upgrade to a Cat 12. I know, I paid to upgrade to a 8A and paid $400 to upgrade.......

Other than that, I have donated several thousand dollars to the Casino and my mom walked away with $1800 and only spent around $80 max to get that $1800.....Me, I am still waiting for a big casino win.....

The casinos on the cruises are by far the worst in payouts that I have seen. I won $250 on my first cruise (in 2002), but nothing since. I lose money quickly in the casino, but it doesn't stop me from playing. My money goes a lot further in Vegas!

I won an amber necklace from a drawing in the jewelry shop on the Destiny three years ago and several ships on a stick for trivia. (BTW, X and HAL give out much better trivia prizes :D)

Won $11,000 on the Fascination last year on slots. Added bonus was free drinks in the casino whenever I was in the casino and the casino host saw me for the rest of the cruise. I'm sure the casino host was hoping I'd leave a bunch of it back on the ship but no such luck for them. ;):D I continued to play but continued to win enough to cover whatever I played. :)

I don't know if the Penthouse Suite is a Cat 12 but that is what I won . . . .playing bingo in 1998. It was the morning we were to get off the ship and all week long they promoted the "grand prize bingo" while waiting in the main theater to get off the ship. The card was $20 and the game was a cover all. If you won, you got to pick the ship and got the penthouse suite for a 7 night cruise. We won!
