I was sick the first day on ship so I went to the Casino and played slots on $20 bucks and won $1250 and then $500!!! I was so happy. We had actually dropped over a grand on Vet Bills a week before our cruise for 2 different emergencies so we were very tight on money.....This made our trip!

On the Glory last Summer they did some sort of "Survivor" contest on the lido deck with 8 people. They divided it into 2 teams and played a bunch of games. The whole thing was pretty lame due to the guy hosting it(Asst Cruise Dict). It seemed like he was making up the games and rules as he was going, it was not well though out. I ended up winning and got a ship on stick, medal, Glory Hat, Shirt, and a bottle of the Crappiest Champagne ever.

LUVVP,

I too have hit 2 royals on cruises----is the vp on Splendor 7/5 for jacks or better?

Nope, it was a horrible 6/5! It's funny how we would never consider playing this paytable anywhere else!

Except for deuces wild which I don't remember the paytable I'm pretty sure the paytable was the same for bonus, db and ddb.

I was surprised how many people that were playing ddb hit 2,3's and 4's with kickers and aces with kickers!

I switched back and forth a few times but usually stuck with job.

I've won three, yes three cruises for two in the last three years. I won two playing bingo and one on raffle tickets bought at the past guest party, all on Carnival Cruise ships. The last one was won while on a cruise I had won the year before. Needless to say we were thrilled and I love Carnival.

From the passenger evaluation forms on The Miracle I was picked as a semi-finalist for a free cruise, which I figured I'd never hear anything about again. One month later I was notified by mail that my name was picked from all the semii-finalists as THE winner for the quarter: 7 day cruise of my choice, oceanview. We cruised on The Triumph, only had to pay the taxes, naturally, and the value of the cruise must be listed on your tax returns, naturally, we wouldn't the government to be cheated out of anything they never earned!!

Same thing for myself, we were on the Valor in Feb. 2009 and I received the letter from carnival stating that I won a free cruise for two on any 3,5,7 day cruise in an oceanview room. We actually just got off of the Splendor a week ago tomorrow from that free cruise! Being from Canada we didn't have to claim it on our taxes. :)

Judt bsck from the 3/night Imagination today that we had won in a local raffle supporting cancer (relay for life). While on this cruise we won a 3,4, or 5 night cruise in a 6a with the 20 for $20 raffle tickets they were selling at BINGO. Will probably take the 5 nights on Destiny and see what it will cost us to upgrade to a balcony.

We have also won several games of BINGO usually paying between 150-600 bucks. May have won one on the Sensation that was more but can't remember the amount. We have also been sitting right next to the people that won the cover all for the big cruise or jack-pots on past cruises.

We have a whole slew of ship on a stick trophys and medallions won at everything from pictionary, to music trivia, ds doing the "yeah Baby" dance ect.

I won a ship on a stick and a bottle of champagne for coming in 2nd in the Survivor games on the Spirit a few years ago.

We won dinner at the supper club on the Miracle when ds's name was drawn at the past guest party.

I've won watches and liquor from the stores, but the biggie was in May when we cruised on a budget because we did a "swine flu" discount cruise at the last minute. I won $500 coming in 1st at the slot tournament. The best part was I had free entry for being platinum so I didn't even pay to enter.:D

Let's see, on our recent cruise which was just last week, the first night in the casino, I won about $280.00 in one hand at Three Card Poker. Then the second night, I won about $150.00 at the same game in one hand and the fourth night, won $150.00 at the Three Card Poker in one hand. The last winning was awesome because I was down to my last $15.00 bucks and the dealer talked me into playing it blind. You can imagine the amazement when she turned the cards over and had 3 kings. SWEET! Overall, in the 4 cruises we have been on, I would say that I have won a total of approximately $700.00, all from playing Three Card Poker.
