Hearing about a big sale on October 14 - anyone have details on this?

I have heard a lot about special deals coming up tomorrow. Does anyone have more information about these deals?

On the web site of an online agency (that I can't name here) I noticed the same price for the balcony cabin we're interested, but a $700 OBC has been added.

$700 is a big onboard credit. What kind of cabin is that for?What's the best way for me to find the website.?

Best bet is that the $700 OBC is for top categories with lesser amounts for lower categories.

This is the Azamara promotion that was sent to me by email:

 

AZAMARA

Onboard Credit for select 2010 Europe sailings

● $300 OBC per stateroom for Verandas only

● $500 OBC per stateroom for Suites only

 

It stated that it was for new bookings only.

 

The deal that I found was for $700 OBC for a balcony. I have to assume that the travel agency was kicking in part of their commission. It's a company that books lots of Azamara cruises and they probably have an override that they work with.

 

stipmom, I can't post the name here. After 5 Azamara cruises and lots of postings here, I don't want to be booted off the board for violating the rules. Sorry.

I recieved the same email from Azamara last night. Azamara is offering this promotion. It is called "World's Largest Cruise Night" sale. This runs from 10/14-10/16. I suggest calling Azamara for details. I hope this helps.

A negative for me regarding Azamara is that we travel on inside cabins (so that we can travel) and they give no OBC. Still considering a booking however.
