Miami hotel - the epic

Has anyone ever stayed at the EPIC in Miami and give me their opinion on it's location and how they liked it.

EPIC is one of the best hotels in Miami. Very modern. Great views of Biscayne Bay. Close to the port and Bayside. The Intercontinental is closer and the rooms are a little bigger. Check out tripadvisor for helpful reviews and photos. They rate Epic at #1 in Miami based on traveler reviews.

It looks very nice, and I have a chance to stay there or the Intercontnental for about the same price but the Epic includes breakfast :) It does look a bit further to Bayside but we are all like to walk so that is not a huge concern.

Have you styed there? is it worth the little further walk or should I stay at the Intercontinental which is a little closer to Bayside and the Pier?

The Epic is across the street from the Hyatt and looks very nice. I am thinking its about 4 blocks to Bayside. You can also walk thru the Hyatt and the connecting convention center and take the metromover over.

Brand new hotel...TOTALY AMAZING and very trendy...there is a great lounge on the first floor called River lounge with good music. The pool area is amazing and is located perfectly. Short...and I mean shirt drive to Bayside and the Port and also close to the financial district, Brickell, with plenty of restaurants and shops. 100% reccomend it.
