Vancouver Car rental locations

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a rental car agency in Downtown Vancouver.

Close to the peir.

We are renting a car From Seattle airport and I dont want to go all the way back to Vancouver airport to drop it off. Would be nice if there is a place in downtown Vancouver. We plan on spending 2 days in Vancouver and I really dont see a need for the car. So we will be renting it for just one day.

All major car rental companies have offices in the downtown core and most also have a kiosk at Canada Place - you should contact the company - hertz etc that you are renting from and ask them which is the closest drop point to either your hotel or Canada Place.

You definately WANT ONLY a downtown drop off in Vancouver and NOT the Vancouver airport. All the majors have downtown offices. I always walk after dropping off/picking up bags. Easy without mobility limitations. I have rented from Budget, Avis and National.

We dropped ours off (forget the agency, either Hertz or Avis) at the downtown location and they provided a free shuttle bus to the pier. On the way back, we did the same thing in reverse. Worked out very well for us.

When looking online to compare rates, I have a quick question. Which of these Avis locations would be considered Canada Place Pier? Many thanks in advance!

that's there downtown location - about a 6 block walk down to Canada Place or use their shuttle.

Hornby- and if you want- it is a nice walk- downhill :) back to Canada Place. I have walked it every time I have rented from them. :)
