Kontikit Beach -Question

Is Kontikit Beach a good location to hang out at the beach for the day? Are there umbrellas & chair for rent here...also are there beach bars and restaurants on the beach?

Would be coming from the cruise ship only have one day.

Also, I think the Kontiki resort there has changed its name to Cabana, so it's Cabana beach now.
