Booking a cabin that could be a connecting

 I had a thought. I know, they CAN be DANGEROUS

We booked an Interior Porthole Cabin that is listed as a connecting cabin (to the Ocean View right next door).

Is it possible that we could get bumped out of that IF guests need a connecting room and Carnival needs to accommodate them?

If that could and would happen, could we request an upgrade since we would lose the porthole cabin?

We passed up a level upgrade a while ago because if we would have opted to do it, we would have had a regular Interior and we were happy with the Portholes.

What say you?

Thanks Cruisers....you are an amazing group! ;)
