alidor Posted October 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2009 I know the docs for the December 10 Odyssey Caribbean sailing say boarding time is 1:30 but, though that may be the official time, do you think people can board earlier? What has been your experience? Thanks!
crystal808 Posted October 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2009 You may be able to board earlier, but they will likely escort you to the lounge to wait for check-in. Rarely do they start check-in much before the stated time, as they wish to have all of the cabins ready. I wouldn't even try to board before noon. Of course, seated in the lounge with finger foods and beverages isn't half-bad. :D Paul ;)
alidor Posted October 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Thank you for the info. Once you are on board, is there a luncheon served anywhere?
wripro Posted October 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2009 N0 luncheon. sandwiches, snacks and champagne/drinks are served in the lounge. Since boarding time is officially 2PM or so I guess it's too late for lunch.

Roxburgh Posted October 30, 2009 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2009 We are on the November 14th sailing and our plan is to arrive in Ft. Lauderdale the day before and then, on the Saturday morning, lazy breakfast, do some shopping, light lunch and then head to the ship. I don't really see the point of trying to get on early.
