Guide for Dublin, Ireland

Dublin is so simple to tour on your own, you might want to find out what the area has to offer, and NARROW down your interests. Just randomly looking for a "guide" will offer more, if you have an idea of what you want to see.

There is also the good Hop on Hop off buses, that take you to plenty of sights.

If you are interested in a full day tour out of Dublin to see the countryside, I would recommend Tour Dublin. Our driver, Kieran, has a degree in ancient history, and has quite an insight into the ruins and sites we visited. We had an all day tour of Powerscourt Gardens, Glendalaugh (Monestery Ruins) and Avanco the villiage where Ballykissangel was filmed. (great woolen shops). He can arrange a tour to suit your timeframe. His website is http://www.tourdublin.ie and direct email info@tourdublin.ie
