dhay Posted October 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Thsi is only my 3rd cruise and my first time receiving OBC because we caught a price drop. If I want to book my excursions now (which I do) can I use my OBC in my account towards that and not have to actually pay, or is it very literally on board credit and not good until I am on the ship? TIA!
SingingPixie Posted October 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Unfortunately,it is literally "on board" credit. If you want to book excursions now, you'll have to pay for them ahead of time and save your OBC for tips (if you aren't doing MTD and don't have to pre-pay) or other incidentals on the ship. If you're ok risking missing out on your first choice excursions, you could wait and book them on board, and in this case you could use the OBC to cover them. cb at sea Posted October 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2009 You can use it for anything you buy once on the ship... you can use it for any charges, paying your tips through your account.....unless it's a HUGE OBC, you shouldn't have a problem using it up!
