Would it be possible to book a JS for three people, pay the rate, which can be lower than a D1, and then only have two people in the room?

Thats what a lot of people are wondering.

If you try to cancel the third person, then you wouldn't qualify for the rate and they would adjust your 1st/2nd guest rate to whatever the current rate is.

Also, if you have RCI insurance and the 3rd person cancels for a covered reason, then you are protected from a rate increase.

The biggest question is what happens if the 3rd person couldn't make it, for whatever reason (flight delay, ill) and they don't show up. Techincally on sail day its 100% penalty so I doubt RCI will CX them and re-adjust your rate.
