dsstasz Posted November 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2009 We are going on our first Alaska cruisetour and first time with Regent this August. Has anyone taken the Denali inland tour with Regent? If so, how was it, any recommendations? Did you have most of your luggage sent on to the ship while you were in Denali? Thanks in advance

Budget Queen Posted November 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2009 I'm assuming you are booked?? These tours include the Tundra Wilderness tour, which is a a great choice. Be CERTAIN you bring binoculars, 10 power is ideal. A shortcoming, which for me would be significant is the bypassing of any time in Seward. It offers WAY more than Girdwood, for most, in my opinion. An alternative option would be to take advantage of Seward and just take the Alaska RR to Girdwood, and just join/depart the cruisetour there. Seward is a gem, excellent activites to consider and well worth the time.
