Globaliser Posted November 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2009 2) Biz to/from Ireland. Cattle car intra-Europe.No surprise, though, as EI doesn't have a short-haul business class product!
ab0si Posted November 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2009 No surprise, though, as EI doesn't have a short-haul business class product! Right, indeed. I just wanted to be sure people know what they are getting. Of course, quite a few of the business class products for intra-Europe are simply normal couch seats with the middle ones blocked or simply kept empty. (Yes, I now you know this, too <grin>)

Rare FlyerTalker Posted November 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Of course, quite a few of the business class products for intra-Europe are simply normal couch seats with the middle ones blocked or simply kept empty. (Yes, I now you know this, too <grin>) I wish that were always true. On AF, you will get the "convertible seats" with the middle changed over to an armrest. However, on their other airline, KLM, the "Select" product just gets you some extra baggage allowance, a nicer meal and lounge access. I was three across on a multi-hour 737 flight and it was not much nicer than USA domestic coach.
