So the endless days are now two, and we are flying ..ready or no.

First PAII cruise of the 09/10 Antarctic season.

Will there be wall to wall ice & snow..

Will the ship reflect SilverSea purse tightening ..

Will the Drake Lake be a millpond .. and most of all ..

Will I put a foot on Shackletons grave.

 

A love of wild places becomes a possibility for the chronologically challenged thanks to expedition cruising...

Not much excites me these days .. but what the hell.. I'm gonna indulge myself and have fun.

We would love to hear about your trip - and envious- ours is in January. Please post when you return and may you have a calm passage - if you haven't read Shackelton's journal it was great - I hope they have it on board. Let us know all the ins and outs of this trip of a lifetime.
