dino_dino Posted November 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Hi all Well, just like to ask if anyone here did a cruise on the Royal Viking cruise line back in the 1970`s and 80`s, when it was named to the most luxury cruise line to travel with. Some of its ships still sail, SB Legend is a old Royal Viking ship, so the luxury still matches what we like today. Yes, I am Norwegian, so yes, I am a bit proud of that:) Same with Seadream, it was originally a Norwegian cruise line, now it is once more, but named SeaGoddess I and II. Maybe some did a cruise then, and now on the Seadream, will be nice to hear how it was back then, and how it is now, comparing the past and present. Thanks for looking
glo3479 Posted November 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2009 I worked for the Kloster Cruise Lines, in Telecommunations ..... when they were still the proud owners of the Royal Viking Line... It was sad to see her go.

glo3479 Posted November 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2009 I worked in the Office never on the ship. I worked with many that were from the ship. It was great and so was everyone I worked with. Working for the Cruise Line is more like working with family, every one pulls together and every one cares about each other.
