EOS Cabin 9204

Recommended Posts

We requested a twin room with outside view, as we wanted some daylight during a 12 night cruise.

Our travel agent confirmed our cabin number as 9204, is this a good type / location on board the Explorer of the Seas ???

(1st Time Cruise).

You will be right at the very front of the ship....so hopefully, you'll have smooth sailing. The very front of the ship does experience more movement that midships...it's inevitable. You'll be able to see where you're going nicely!

Like other Voyeger class ships, our daughter had that one on the Mariner for their honeymoon, while we had an aft cabin on the top floor, she wanted us as far away as possible. Most rooms are made up as king beds, so you might need to ask cabin attendend to make it up as twins. They do it all the time. Enjoy the Explorer of the Seas, you will love it. We had the same waiter (now head waiter) that we had 15 yrs ago on an Explorer sailing to Bermuda this past spring (our first RCCL cruise was from Florida - brother in laws wedding cruise), and we saw a cabin attendant that was on our first cruise as well. Tells you a lot about staff. Just watch that you put away valuables in your safe when leaving cabin, and if you have a routine you do daily, mix it up throughout the cruise, and make a trip back unexpectedly to your cabin. Not that we had anything taken, but I felt our room was cased a time or 2. This time we had a port side 1st balcony cabin on deck 9 or 10 I would have to check card, but the cabin in front of us it was an adjoining cabin that did not have balcony, so when we opened our balcony door the door between the rooms wisteled so badly we had to keep it closed, next time no adjoining cabins. We could hear the kids in that room cough all night.
