I need advice!!

I am a single mom and I am planning on taking my 12 year old DD on the Star Princess in Dec. 2010 for the Antarctica cruise. I am thinking that there will be some kids onboard, won't there? She is excited to see the wildlife but almost three weeks on the ship and lots of sea days has me worried a bit. She has cruised alot. I am worried that she will be bored to death and there will be no chicken nuggets? LOL. Any advice?
