Too dressy?

The dress is tea length. It's prettier in person (this picture is a little dark). It's a pink satin with sheer pink on top, and little pink sequins on the bodice. Not wearing those shoes. I have some strappy "glimmer silver" sandals.

 

We are going to be on the Carnival Glory, Thanksgiving week.

This is a cute dress. Which ship are you sailing? We different shoes, it should be great. You could dress it up with jewlery -- It seems to be fine for a young woman. It would be fine for the mass-market lines.:)

We're going on Carnival Glory. I'm 43. But I was young when I got married in it four years ago. LOL I just really need an excuse to get it out of the closet!

It would be perfect for elegant evenings, but it would be a bit too dressy on casual evenings for most. Now, you may see some dressed up quite a bit on every evening.

Awesome! Thanks!! That covers both my Elegant Evenings then. The other is a floor length dress I wore on our last cruise.

 

I'm gonna dress up most other nights, but nothing like the two formal nights. It's a holiday week, and it'll be just hubby and me. So I'm making the most of it. :)

It will be fine, but I do agree, don't use those shoes--they look too 'wedding-y".

I didn't take it. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pack it well enough to not wrinkle it really bad.

Aww too bad it was cute. I wear a formal every year so definitely not too dressy in my book.
