Dress Code - Alaska Cruise?

We will be on Navigator out of San Francisco on 26th May 2010 flying in from UK. We clearly will need to bring warm clothes and water proofs but do we need to bring Tux and Gowns?

We did this itinerary in 2008 (and will be on the 26th of May cruise as well). We found the weather to be much warmer than expected in some ports and did not pack anything appropriate for the warm weather. I checked the weather in May/June of this year -- some days were warm (not as warm as 2008). We are packing some short sleeve shirts/blouses for the warmer weather.

Although 2010 is Elegent Casual, we are more comfortable dressing up just a bit for Signatures and Prime 7 as well as the Captain's Reception and Farewell nights. Nothing fancy -- just a sports jacket and slacks are fine. This is your decision -- there is no requirement to dress up at any time.
