There are alot of variables in your question. I would say our minimum for a 14-day cruise would be $2000 and the maximum would be $5000. However, I really don't want to share what we are spending our money on.;)

Everyones spending is different. I have seen people walk off with over 3000 ship account and some with almost nothing. If you take your wine and liquor on board your costs will be less. If you do independant excursions same story, It can literaly vary from person to person by thousands. Add up what excursions. spa experiences etc which are all on their website and estimate.

I think it also depends your personal preferences and I think it depends if it your first cruise. First cruises see to be a little more expensive.

On my last cruise (a 14 day B2B) I bought 1 drink (husband took wine on board), didn't visit the spa, only bought 2 pictures and didn't buy much in the ship shops. We did visit specialty restaurants. With auto tips my ship account was not bad at all.

I then have to add on the ship excursions. (We also did several independent). We were in Alaska and so the excursions are a little pricey, and this was the biggest part of my ship account. But this is where I wanted to spend my money. I would not have traded the experience. As I said it is personal preferences.

Now we won't talk about what was spent in port on presents for back home!:)

I think we are on the low end ... tips included we are typically around $500 for the week for the two of us. Our highest for a 7 day was probably in the neighborhood of $800.

For context, we are not big drinkers but do enjoy a drink or two a day in addition to the wine we bring with us. I have never indulged in the spa, and we typically buy a few things for ourselves in the shops onboard. Our shore excursions are more often booked with private companies.

First of all figure your tips at $10/$11 per person per day. On a 14-day cruise that can total up to $140/$154 per person. It could be more if you want to give extra for really great service. We usually don't purchase much by way of drinks; we stick with the free stuff. It's all subjective as to how much you spend for tours, in the shops, casino, bars, bingo, etc.

You'll get a different answer from each person since there are so many variables. The constant is the auto-tip, which is $10.50/day/pp for an inside, oceanview or balcony cabin, $11/day/pp for a mini-suite or full suite.

The amount you spend on specialty dining would depend on how many nights you go. It costs between $20 - $25/pp each time. Spa treatments I haven't a clue. Liquor would depend on how much you drink, the size of the drink and what type of drink you like. Drinks cost between $5 - 8 (that's a rough estimate as I'm not sure how much a beer is or if you wanted a double martini, for instance.) A 15% tip is automatically added to each drink's cost.

Excursions are so variable. It depends on how many ports and what type of excursions you like to do. I've been on cruises that had 12 ports in 14 days and others that had 3 ports in 14 days. It all depends. And, depending on the tour you want to take, it can range from $49/pp to $2,000/pp (for an overnight.) I don't know how much the photos are since I rarely buy them. Hope this helps.

If you like art, don't forget to budget for the auctions as they were an unexpected addition to our budget (love the ones we bought though).

We tend to be on the low end because we don't buy photos, we don't use the spa and we very seldom purchase anything onboard the ship. We do buy a few drinks a day and we do go on excursions. When we went to Alaska our bill was higher but we went on the more expensive shore excursions in every port. On the Caribben cruises we tend to just go to the beach in the ports and spend very little.
