Skagway Eagle Preserve float excursion

We are going to Alaska on the NCL Star is June. We went three years ago and did the White Pass Railway in Skagway and thoroughly enjoyed it , but wanted to try something different this time. The Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve float trip looks good and I've done a little research on it, but somewhere I think I've seen that during that time of the summer, there may not be that many eagles in the preserve. Can someone who has done that excursion give me a little info.

This is in Haines not Skagway, so you will be boating back the Lynn Canal for this, or flying? Anyway- not a lot of eagles before fall, but always some to view. You can direct book this with Eco Orca who runs an excellent trip.
