Harrison's Cave costs big bucks!

The rates shown on the site are in Barbados Dollars!!!

The current official rate of exchange hover about 2 Barbados dollars to 1 USD. Therefore the cost should be about $20 plus or minus.

We visited the caves 3 years ago and were totally entranced by the tour. We were just in Barbados on a cruise and wanted to visit the caves again, however it was closed for renovation.

From our tour, we certainly would recommend Harrison's Cave as a great tour and the renovations should make it even better.

Web site says Harrison's Cave is closed for redevelopment :(
BIG redevelopment!

I took a quick drive-thru the area about 2 months back.

Looks like they're moving the whole visitor access site up on top the cliff

to the S.E. of the old site

and throwing 3 elevator shafts over the cliff, right down into the ground

-and into the caves below!

A whole different way of getting you down there, it looks like..

Should be a dramatic ride down!

They're spending millions -you'll see.
