jandiart Posted December 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Can anyone tell me if the "portholes on decks 2 and 3 staterooms are small portholes or larger ones. My TA sent me a picture but I think it is of the regular windows with the vertical line in the middle.

My TA sent me a picture but I think it is of the regular windows with the vertical line in the middle. It may look like regular windows because there are 2 port holes next to each other and they are almost recessed so there is a little ledge there as well. Our cabin had 2 small port holes next to each other. It wasn't very attractive and had a large metal cover that was latched above. We had a cabin on deck 2 once and personally, we would do an inside cabin instead of the port hole. For us it just wasn't an attractive cabin....we felt we were in a battleship with the port hole and heavy metal lid above.... We had never had an inside so were leary of booking one but know that we have been in an inside (for shorter cruises to ports we have been to before) we would take that over the porthole.....just my opinion.
