Recommend Tour Guide (Limon) - Charlie Soto

We just got back from our Carnival Legend New Year's Eve cruise, and we had a great time! One of the highlights of our trip was the luck of the draw to get Charlie Soto as our local tour guide. Charlie has spent time in the US, so he speaks English well. He was a fun and professional tour guide who was friendly and full of information. He took us and another couple on a 4 hour tour where we got to go to the bannana plantations, see the bannana boats, take a tour around town, go to the beach and visit a special animal sanctuary where we saw parrots, tucans, monkeys, sloths, and even a baby monkey. It seems everywhere we went, everyone knew Charlie. He gave us a good "insider" look at Limon, to places we would have never seen with a large tour. The weather was not cooperating with us most of the day, but that didn't deter Charlie's enthusiasm or our fun day. So, if you are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, and you want to avoid the large crowds of the Ship's Tour or other more popular tour guides, be sure and ask for Charlie! We recommend him highly.

You can reach Charlie by email at okeydokeytours@hotmail.com. Also, feel free to email me at quimbydog@earthlink.net if you have any other questions or whatever. Enjoy your cruising!

:)
