Electrical Outlets Inside Staterooms

Any idea as to the number of electrical outlets in the inside staterooms? (Emerald Princess)

I have numerous battery chargers that will need to be used each evening, besides my laptop. Should I bring an outlet power strip?

I have never had an inside stateroom but I would guess there would be only one outlet that can be used for charging electronics (the outlet in the bathroom is for razors only). If you have multiple things to charge I would recommend a power strip.

I bought a new power strip before I went on the last cruise. It is from Belkin (go to the Belkin website) and it had 3 outlets and 2 USB charging ports on it. The best part of it is that you can turn the plug around 360 degrees so it can be out of the way. It was $24.99 and was one of the best travel investments that I have made!

I picked up two of these in the airport last month when I realized (just a few minutes before boarding our international flight) that we had neglected to pack our powerstrip...these are great for cruising...compact, and essentially 5 outlets:)

On the Emerald last spring, there was a double outlet on the desk and another one behind the TV. I ALWAYS take my power strip with me. Unfortunately, when I was unpacking, I discovered that I had left my computer AC power cord at home:(.

Fortunately, a couple I'd met onboard had the same model as I did & they let me use their power strip which lasted me until I got back home.
