Upsell Call

I received my upsell call just a little while ago. I am sailing on the Liberty 12/12/09. I am currently in a 8M and their offer was a Grand Suite for 350 per person.....Anyone have any opinions on whether to take it or not??

I don't have advice but wanted to ask you a question. How long do they give you to ponder your decision?

I asked the lady if I could talk to my husband and call her back. She said that it was fine but the cabin could be sold because it was still in the inventory.

Just went on the Carnival site to do some research for you. They are showing one GS left (cabin 7289) and are asking $1499 pp for it. Depending what you paid for your 8M (there are none showing on the CCL site - must be sold out) it seems to be a great deal, as the next category is an 8C for $899. Seems like they are offering this to you for less than 1/2 price "difference" per person. If you can swing the extra $700, and it is worth it to you, it seems like a great deal!
