What does the cabin 'grades' mean on P & O Cruises

Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of explanations of the cabin grades on P and O cruises?

eg on the inside staterooms there are a number of 'grades' including OD and OB for example.

Thank you.

Also as you move amidships, the grade (usually) goes higher. This is because it's reckoned that a cabin amidships will experience less movement than one at the bows or the stern, and this is regarded as 'better'.

But these are arbitrary definitions. The key cabin types are the usual ones: a) inside cabin; b) external (window) cabin; c) balcony cabin; d) larger balcony cabin (sometimes called 'stateroom' on P&O); e) mini-suites; and finally f) suites. Pretty much always, all cabins of the same type will be identical, and any difference between different grades of the same type will be determined by the location of the cabin.

Not that clearly, either it didn't come out or was removed, do they remove many posts here for no obvious reason?

It must be an age thing.
