How does this work are they in your cabin or do you get them on deck. Also can you take them on shore just trying to decide if we need to bring our own

Large ones are supplied in your cabin and more are available at the pool as well.

Yes you can take them onshore.

Just be sure not to leave them anywhere. I think you get charged for "missing pool towels":(

I think it's only the bathrobes. Last cruise, I forgot my towel by the pool and was not charged for it.

No charges for missing pool towels. When returning from ports and sometimes near the pool you will see a bin for placing dirty pool towels in. Many times you will also find a cart of clean towels near the pool, but I never count on it.

Definitely no charge for pool towels. In several ports, when you reboard the ship, there are huge bins for your towels right as you re-enter the ship. I ship they are trying to contain all the beach sand that the ship inevitably picks up in each port.

If you are going ashore and don't want to trek up to the pool deck you can just ask your stateroom steward for a couple extra ones.
