Mariner OTS balcony room question

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have booked a balcony room. The room sleeps 3...I had thought originally it had a sofa bed, but instead it has a pullman bed right above the heads of both twin beds. Has anyone had one of these sleeping arrangements before, and did you worry about the person on the pullman falling out of bed and onto you in the night or the bed breaking and falling on the sleeping people below? LOL....I am a little worried about this, trying to figure out who exactly is gonna sleep in the overhead bed. Thank you!

I was in a room like this on a Carnival ship. I didn't worry one bit about it falling, or the person sleeping to fall out of the bed. My biggest concern (which turned out to be valid) was forgetting about it being there above me and picking my head up too quickly and banging my head. That did happen once or twice

Of course, that had nothing to do with the fact that I had a few cocktails that evening

I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about!

If you don't mind mentioning your cabin number you can find out from someone who has had that cabin that you definitely have a pullman. We expected a pullman in our balcony as it was marked that way on the deck plans and ended up with a sofa bed.
