Where to Stay in Sydney?

Recommended Posts

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton. Very convenient to Sydney Wildlife World the Aquarium and Darling Harbor. We were upgraded to a harbor view, got to check in early at 9:00 am, a fabuluous buffet breakfast was included :(even better than on the cruise ship) for around $180 AUS. It worked for us. The hotel staff was very helpful in directions and getting our luggage and taxi's. Hope this helps. It was only about a 5 minute taxi ride to the ship as it docked in Darling Harbor.

I just got back. We walked over to the Holiday Inn and it is across the street and down the hill to the Circular Quay pier. 10 minutes max.

We stayed at the 4 points which is on the Darling Harbor side and had room quotes from $165 to $185 with breakfast. The staff was amazing with help.

A Princess ship was in while we were there I would cab it to either dock from 4 points. Lots of traffic in the area.

We liked our stay at the Rydges World Square hotel. Downstairs was a large grocery store, many eateries and shops in the area. Monorail connection. Chinatown is 2 blocks away, and it was a pleasant walk past the Sheraton by the Park to visit a natural history museum. -- We chose to have the Club feature: daily continental breakfast and an evening Happy Hour. The Lounge had 4 computers with free internet available for guests.-- We have stayed at other Sydney hotels (the Intercontinental, the Grace): they were OK. We prefer Rydges' and its location.
