what to do between cruise and airport

We will be going on the Carnival Imagination in March and have a 3 PM flight back to NY. We wanted to hire a driver to take us to Las Olas Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale , so we can walk around a bit, have lunch and then to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. There will be 8 of us. Does anyone have any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

I'd go to Big City Tavern and sit outside and people watch with a bloody mary and one of their shrimp enchilatas!

 

Edited to say scratch that, I'll have a bottle of Pellegrino water, a glass of pino grigio, and the chopped Greek Salad!
