We thoroughly enjoyed 7078, right next door towards the bow. You are very close to the aft elevators (but you will hear no noise) and only a few feet from the laundry room (again, you will hear nothing), which is a real plus if you want to use it, because it will be so easy to see when it's empty. 7076 is directly across from the laundry.

 

You will use the aft elevators to go up to the library, Polo, Toscanna, the Terrace buffet and the pool deck; down to the Grand Dining Room, reception, destination services, some exits to the gangplank and the shops, Martinis Bar, casino, etc. You will only use the forward elevator for Horizons Lounge, the spa, the showroom lounge and most exits to the gangplank. I think anything around the aft elevators is the most convenient location on the ship. I've also been in 7085, just across the ship, with all the same comments except not quite as convenient to the laundry.

 

To me, the category A cabins on Deck 7 are the best on the ship. I like the concierge perks and amenities (almost the same as a suite except for the butler), and even though it is smaller, I like the walk-in shower better than a combo tub/shower in the suites.

As usual Don has said it very well. My only addition would be that you're near the aft STAIRS which we use the entire cruise. Great little calorie saver if you are able.:)

Betsy also uses the stairs almost exclusively. I can go down pretty well, but I don't much like to go up...:rolleyes:
